Rockets of Desire or Rockets of Resistance

Every thought has nothing to do with the thought before it.
Each thought stands on its own.

They are all separate “rockets of desire,” as Abraham Hicks calls them.
Small energetic launches. Directions you send out.

So the thought you are thinking right now does not have to be connected to your past or your old story.
It doesn’t have to be logical. Not at all.
It doesn’t even have to fit who you used to be.

Easy, right?

As Einstein said:
You can’t solve a problem from the same level of consciousness in which it was created.
And with imagination you can go anywhere (while logic only takes you from A to B).

Your new life doesn’t have to match your old life.
Your new version doesn’t have to look like your old version.

Isn’t that fantastic?
What better way to start the week?

When desire turns into resistance

When a rocket of desire feels negative, it’s no longer a desire.
It becomes a rocket of fear — or even better said:
a rocket of resistance.

Thoughts like:

  • What if he doesn’t love me?

  • What if it never works out?

  • What if others get what they want, but I don’t?

  • What if I end up alone?

These are not desires.
These are rockets of resistance.

And resistance costs energy. A lot of energy.
Your heart contracts instead of expanding.

What happens when you don’t consciously guide your mind?

Imagine this:

A person thinks about 6,000 thoughts per day on average.

Now imagine that:

  • 80% of them are rockets of resistance

  • and 20% are rockets of desire, for example because you meditate in the morning and evening

And imagine that your energy and focus are completely on lack — because even when you meditate, you’re not doing it to be present, but to get something you don’t yet have.

What do you think you’ll attract and confirm in your life?

Exactly.
More proof of lack.

Not because you’re doing anything wrong.
But because energy always follows where attention goes.

The breakthrough: what do you minimally need?

The good news:
it doesn’t have to be perfect.

What you do need is a tipping point.

At least 51% of your attention and energy directed toward:

  • desire

  • trust

  • new possibilities

  • gratitude

  • and the knowing: this is already allowed to be here for me, because I choose to focus on it

That’s enough.

Not 100%.
No spiritual perfection.

51%.

The majority.

And that will start working for you.
51% — that should be doable, right?

We’ll do this together in 2026.
I’m with you.
Every day.
In our app.

To lovingly remind you again and again, so you don’t unconsciously slip back to the wrong side of the coin.

What can you do today? (and tomorrow, and the day after)

1. Know this: this thought is separate from the old story

Just this realization already brings relief.

The thought doesn’t have to be logical.
It only has to feel slightly better than the previous thought.

That’s enough.

2. You can choose. Always.

You are free.

Even if you were physically imprisoned.

Viktor Frankl showed that you can always choose your inner attitude.
James Stockdale proved that you can focus on what’s within your influence.
Nelson Mandela showed that hope and dignity can remain intact even in captivity.

Freedom starts on the inside.

3. Don’t choose once — choose again and again

Not just now while you’re reading this.
But the second after.
And the second after that.

Every second counts.

That’s consciousness.

Consciousness is:
noticing your thought,
without judgment,
and choosing again.

4. Label your thought (2 seconds)

Simply ask yourself:
Is this a rocket of desire, or a rocket of resistance?

No judgment.
Nothing else needed.

Just labeling already takes you out of autopilot.

And then comes the real power:
you get to choose again.

Do I want more of this?
Or more of that?

You lead.
You are the boss lady.
Or boss man.

5. Make a micro-shift

You don’t have to go from zero belief to one hundred.

Choose one thought that feels:

  • 1% more believable

  • 1% lighter

For example:
From: “I can’t do this”
To: “I don’t have to do it perfectly, just take the next step.”

From: “There is lack”
To: “Today I can notice one sign of abundance.”

That’s already a rocket of desire.

6. Train your 51% with mini soul practices

Daily. Gently. Lovingly.

  • Three times a day:
    30 seconds of breathing
followed by writing down one better-feeling thought

  • In bed:
    your gifts of the day
three concrete things that felt good

  • Proof hunt:
Where did I see support, opportunities, or progress today?

  • Regularly read your Year Letter
(see module 1, year 2, for how to create it)

Have a beautiful week,
Love,
